Ethnographic and textual methods combined to describe: how do people in Russia approach everyday (and political) problems of interpreting the feelings and thoughts of others.

Student Tasks and Responsibilities:  The student will search for and/or translate materials (in Russian and in English) about theatrical and everyday communication, as well as materials about interpretation through "telepathy."  Also: to scan video sites for relevant materials.

Minimum Qualifications: Fluent reading in Russian or fluent ability to understand spoken Russian.
